History
History
In 2008, the Company Grade Committee (known then as the Committee on Company Grade Issues), developed a “Best Practices” manual. It is a compilation of tips on membership, communications, OPD programs, legislative efforts, and more that will engage junior officers, grow membership and foster grassroots involvement. Today, that manual is continuously being updated adding the new ideas, plans, and other tools used by the 54 states and territories to increase membership and involvement of Company Grade Officers.
This website is a continuation of that effort, converting the manual to a digital and interactive tool for you.
It was once said, “we are more than 51% of the membership, but 100% of the future,” and to that purpose we pledge this document as a guide to the 51%, may it guide and lead you into the future.
